Volunteers
Over the years, many volunteers have given freely of their time and energy to help the Williamston Food Bank. It is only through their kindness and compassion for those in need that our little organization is able to do so much good for those families in need. Special thanks are in order to folks like Jo Schoff and Bob and Jane Pease, who kept the Williamston Food Bank going and growing for many years after the Larsons. We would also like to recognize Ginny Kaiser, who has been volunteering with the Williamston Food Bank for nearly 20 years, and is still an active volunteer today. The WFB also give a big shout out to the "newcomer" volunteer Co-Directors Jill Cutshaw and Danny Hulbert as well as regulars like Phil and Pat Everett and our Treasurer, Kim VanErp.
We would also like to thank one of our youngest volunteers, Blake Parmer. Blake was a candidate for an Eagle Scout Award for his efforts to renovate the space where the WFB currently resides. At the age of 14, Blake cleaned the much neglected space, painted the walls, installed new doors, floors and shelves, provided new floor mats, tables and signs, and made it possible to operate in the capacity it does today. Blake's spirit of selfless giving is the heart and soul of WFB volunteers, and we so appreciate the past, current and future volunteers for adding a rich fabric to our community.
